Center Hill lake is a great place for your boating adventure. The reservoir is 64 miles long and boasts 415 miles of scenic, rugged shoreline. The lake has 19,000 surface acres of water with plenty of secluded areas for some private time. The lake is deep, clear and is an obvious favorite of local boaters and fishermen. Center Hill Lake has been called Tennessee’s best kept secret and is becoming known as one of the most beautiful lakes in the southeastern U.S.
There are 37 boat launch ramps of varying depths along the shores of Center Hill. The lake has a maximum pool elevation of 685 feet and at minimum power level, an elevation of 618 feet. Choosing the proper ramp becomes more important when the lake is maintained at lower levels as some ramps become unusable.
